If the Savior stood beside me...

I just felt like i needed to write this, on sunday...I was sitting in primary(the kid part of church) and listening to the children sing, and they sang this song, and it brought tears to my eyes...it makes me want to be a better person...i hope the lyrics touch you just as much as they did me, but no matter what your beliefs are...truly read the lyrics....when the children sang they sounded like angels....
If the Savior stood beside me, would I do the things I do?
Would I think of His commandments and try harder to be true?
Would I follow His example? Would I live more righteously,
If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me?

If the Savior stood beside me, would I say the things I say?
Would my words be true and kind if He were never far away?
Would I try to share the gospel? Would I speak more reverently
If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me?

If the Savior stood beside me, would my thoughts be clean and pure?
Would His presence give me strength and hope, and courage to endure?
Would His counsel guide my actions? Would I choose more worthily
If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me?

He is always near me, though I do not see Him there
And because He loves me dearly, I am in His watchful care
So I'll be the kind of person that I know I'd like to be
If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me.

I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that he loves me. I know he is my older brother, and that through him I can pray to my Father in Heaven, who hears and answers my prayers. I know that if I live like the Savior is standing next to me, the best that I can, that someday I will return to be with my older brother Jesus Christ, and my Father in Heaven and my earthly family and friends. I know that Heavenly Father sent his son to earth to die for my sins, and that through the atonement of Christ all mankind can be saved. I know that after Christ died for my sins, he came and showed his scar's of his hands and feet to the people and taught them, visitied the American Continent. I know that because not only do I believe in the bible, but i believe in the book of mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ. I also know that there is a Prophet here on earth today to help guide us and keep us safe from sin, and loves us by the name of Thomas S Monson, I also know that families can be together forever, and that we have a purpose in life, and a purpose after life. I believe these things, and felt like sharing them. Have a great week, and try to serve someone.:)
