Jennie Brown

As most of you know I love the elderly. I have adopted many grandparents since I was little. And four of my dearest adopted Grandma's have passed away over the years. June Boggs, Ila Bigelow, Lillian and today my Grandma Jennie did, and she isn't just an older lady I fell in love with and decided to adopt her as my Grandmother, she is closer then that. Most of you know my second family the Techaus. I consider Joe and Karyn my second set of parents, and Katie my sister. We have grown up together. They are such a great blessing in my life, and I love them dearly. Grandma Jenny is Karyns mom. So since Karyn is my second Mom, that makes Grandma Jenny my 4th Grandma. ha first Grandma Harris, then Grandma Billie I never met, then Grandma Nancy, then Grandma Jennie. It seems like it has been awhile that Grandma Jennie hasn't really been here all the way mentally, but I have loved every visit I have had with her over the last couple years she has been sick. She always makes me laugh and smile. I remember when she wasn't sick going to her house in Auburn and picking oranges, and sitting in her house. I remember her birthday and christmas cards. I remember all of her jewelry hanging up everywhere. And her beautiful photographs of her growing up. I remember her love for Cats, and always telling me to, " be good". I am really sad I won't be able to be here for her funeral, but my last visit with her was wonderful. I went with Joe, and we laughed and visited and it was a happy time. I am glad she is with her husband, and parents, and family, and she can look over her family, and the great state of Iowa she loves, and Auburn. I am happy in a year she will be able to have her temple work done, and I hope I can be there. I will miss Grandma Jennie, but I will never forget her and her smiling face.

Your remembrance of Jennie was great. She will be missed by all those that loved her. I had the honor of being able to sit with Kayrn and Jennie on Wed. night. I saw a beautiful picture of her in her younger years. Having that last visit with her will be a great memory for you. Take care, and we will see you soon.
