Hualtuco, Mexico

Well I haven't written on here for awhile! I just got back from my last vacation. It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed Puerto Escondido better, but this was still fun. I pretty much lived on the beach all week long and got very tan!One of the beaches we got dropped off by boat and the guy left us there for 3 hrs, after about 5 minutes we realized the waters were filled with jelly fish. So we all got a jelly fish stings! After spending a wonderful week in Hulatuco, we went to Oaxaca for the temple. But we went to see the biggest tree in the world. It was 2000 years old and a beast!
Here is a picture we Alissa, and me and my taxi driver infront of the "son" of the oldest tree. The funny story behind this picture, is if you can't tell we are trying to make a "R" out of our hands for Reno. Because I was born in Reno, Alissa lives in Reno and our taxi driver, lived in Reno for a couple of years and worked at the pepper mill. So this is our "reno" faces. As he was driving us home it turned out he is mormon and getting sealed to his wife in the temple in a couple of months. small world.
Here we are in front of the big tree.

Then we got to do baptisms one last time at the Oaxaca temple.

It was a wonderful vacation here is all of us, Jessie, Sam, Johnny, Tosca, Alissa, Staci, Jasmine and I.

So I had a really neat experience today. I had no idea today was testimoney meeting at my ward at church since, it is Easter sunday. As I was sitting there, I felt so strongly I needed to bear my testimoney but I don't know how in spanish. I tried ignoring the feeling and I couldn't anymore and got up, and bore a very simple testimoney in spanish. I simply said in spanish, " Goodmorning Brothers and Sisters, I want to bear my testimoney but I do not speak alot of spanish. I hope you can feel the spirit in your hearts. I know the church is true. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know my family is together forever because of the temple. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen." But I was crying the whole time. After I bore my testimoney I understood all of the others and people thanked me, It was a neat experience to bear in spanish. I know have a great appreciation for the missionaries.
So I had a great week and great vacation.
Hope everyones spring break was great! See everyone in 20 days!
