Well little Millie Rose, or should I say big Millie Rose made her debut at 11:47pm December 31, 2011 weighing 10 lbs 20.5 inches long! December 30th at 9pm I was induced with Pitocin. The 31st at 8am my water was broke by a Dr. I did not feel contractions until my Pitocin was at a 14. After two hours of feeling contractions I had an epidural. At 3pm I was dilated at a 3, at 4pm a 4 and so on. At 7 I was at 7cm and told Scott to go eat. He went to taco bell, by the time he got back I was at a 9.5cm. I started pushing for 3 hours. Gave it all I could. I just wanted my baby girl here. My temp was at a 101, and Millies heart rate was pretty high. She was so big she needed help getting out. The dr came and gave me an episotomy, and had to use the vacume to bring my sweet baby girl into the world. Then at 11:47 she came. She is perfect. I love her with all my heart. That was so hard, and so worth it. I would do it over and over again just to hold her and see her sweet face. I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband, and such a beautiful daughter. I am so blessed to have my family here and all there support, and such great friends. I feel so blessed and grateful. Scott, my mom and dad, and best friend Chandee were there and showed me so much love and support. What a great way to start the new year:)
