Happy Birthday Katie Lynn

Today is my best friend, my sister Katie Lynn's 21st Birthday! It seems like yesterday I was 4 years old at her 5th birthday party!


We have been friends for such a long time, and we know each other so well. We laugh every time we are together! She has been a blessing in my life. I have never met anyone that has as much faith as Katie. She is truly a great example to me. I was an only child for so long, that she was my sister. Her parents are my second parents. We grew up always playing, and using our imagination, creating our dreams.I remember we even would tell everyone we were sisters, everyone would believe us because i was unusually small for our age and she was just a little bit tall for our age! Even though we are just 5 months apart!!Katie knows me so well, she can always cheer me up. She in essence was my comfort blanket, i think i always knew Katie would be here for me, and cared about me, and she was always there, unlike my other friends, she was family. She was with me every step in my life, through all my hard times and growing times! So even though in high school we had our own different groups and friends, i knew she was just across the street, and always there. So when high school graduation came for Katie, it was hard for me! I knew she wouldn't be just across the street.
After high school graduation for Katie, we kinda started growing apart, but whenever we do see eachother or call, it was like we were playing again the day before! So to me that is a true friend, we don't talk all the time or see eachother, even though i wish we did, i still know she is always here for me, and my best friend. We might have other friends we call every day, but Katie is my sister. I was so glad she came home this week for her birthday, even though i barely got to see her, it was great. She is a huge blessing in my life. Friends truly are treasures, and Katie is my greatest. I will always love her, and i know i will always be able to count on her, in my life. So happy 21st birthday my best friend, my sister, my neighbor, you are amazing and I will always love you!
